What is your official role at B'nai Shalom Day School?

What inspired you to pursue the role you hold today?

Many of you might recognize me from the car rider line! I’ve been babysitting for a family at the school for nearly four years, and during that time I’ve seen firsthand how special this school and its community truly are. When I learned about the opening at the front desk, I knew right away it would be a wonderful opportunity.

Where did you go to college/what degrees/accreditations do you hold/experience do you have?

I spent my first two years at Appalachian State before finishing my degree in Business Administration, with a minor in Accounting, at UNC–Greensboro

Do you have any pets?

Yes! I have three pets—Elmo, my Great Pyrenees; Ace, my rescue mix; and Paris, my fancy longhaired gray cat.

Favorite Food?

It’s too hard to choose just one… but definitely sushi, pizza, pasta, chimichangas, subs—and of course, my mom’s cooking.

What is your favorite way to spend time with your family?

One of my favorite ways to spend time with my family is through traveling. We’ve explored many states across the U.S., as well as international trips to the Philippines (where my mom is from), Rome, Switzerland, Paris, and London. Hopefully our next adventure will be Scotland—fitting, given my last name!

Favorite Color?

Light pink of course. But I also really love the color brown!
